Everyone walks into Santiago, walks the Camino, with something in pain and something healing.

Why do we form and join in groups? What motivates us to opt out and in?
What do we celebrate with each other? What small victories do we hold private?
Why do we focus on a milestone so single minded, then immediately look past it when the moment has arrived?
A friend said, the Camino ends at a gift shop. Tourists, consumption, spending, large and small luxuries. Indeed.
There were lots of parts of the Camino with unimportant distractions; gift shops at the end are such. The Camino is plentiful with distractions, and true gifts. The arrival in Santiago is no different. True gifts await next to the gift shop trinkets, the ice cream, the wine glass.

Watching Pilgrims, Perrigrinos, arrive. Gifts of the Camino always are there.
