Day 27 (20 May)

Walked. 100 km marker!

Started at 6:15, with Rusty and Karri. Woman in the Alburgue hacked a lung until about 5:00 am. Easy up.

Walked on my own for much of the day.

Great time taking with Stewart (Father Stewart) and Richard.

“Are you going to Finisterra?”
“I don’t know. I’ve been to the end of the world twice. I may not need to see it again.”
When were you at the end of the world?”
“Once in the west of Ireland on a beach in the rain. Once on the deck of a ship.”
“Did it bring you resolution?”
“It helped with transition, but not resolution. I sang and cried in the rain, and left something in no longer needed.”

This would be happier, but less needed.

When I encountered a priest on the walk, except for Marius, I waited to get there sense, their mood perhaps, before making my request. Always the same: Could you remember in your prayers during a mass the name of my sister who is a miracle and who has been sick and healing?

Stewart is fierce. He insisted to know more. Seemed a condition before deciding. … After hearing about the miracle, her prayers (my version) to live each day without doubt, without fear, without unforgiveness, Stewart fiercely and generously agreed.
